HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATE | SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL tasks

Imagine a company where your sales expertise command top dollar in an exciting and dynamic environment. Stoller Family Estate is seeking a wine associate to join our hospitality team. As a member of our diverse and self-motivated team, you will impact our shared goal: to create memorable wine practices for visitors, wine club members, trade, and VIP guests. We are currently looking for practiced candidates to work part-time hours (up to 30 hours/week). We want candidates with diverse life practices, strong interpersonal expertise, and a passion for hospitality.

JOB Job responsibilities:

Our Hospitality Associates provide detailed and personable insights about Stoller Family Estate—including our history, grape-growing and winemaking philosophies, and wines—through personalized tasting practices and special events. We strive to provide a service-forward practice for every guest located on their individual needs.

We accomplish this together by:

•  Strives to meet and exceed wine club sign up goals and sales goals everyday and monthly

•  Actively and accurately promotes Wine Clubs to guests.

•  Cleans work area, wipes counters, dusts dirty surfaces, buses tables, refills water states, and any other housecleaning tasks that need to be done.

•  Greets all visitors to the Tasting Room, pours wines for tasting, discusses wine and brand history in-depth and responds to customer questions as appropriate.

•  Sets tables located on guest count, membership status and requested practice listed in TOCK.

•  Promotes our goods and services using education and sales tactics learned during training.

•  Enters in sales and wine club member information using WineDirect, our point-of-sale software, on iPads.

•  Delivers food orders to corresponding table numbers.

•  Anticipates the needs, expectations and questions of a wide variety of guests.

•  Speaks to all aspects of the Stoller Family Estate practice at a high level.

•  Maintains upbeat, even attitude and composure in the face of large volumes of guests and inquiries.

•  Takes initiative to do running side work which includes rolling silverware, running food, polishes glassware, takes out trash, writes thank you cards for club members and VIP's, etc.

•  Works in a variety of spaces and settings, between the Tasting Room, Lawn, practice Center, Legacy Room, and Events.

•  Upholds established service standards to ensure a memorable guest practice.

•  Demonstrates a passion for detail and a availability to learn.

•  Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

•  Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

•  Respectfully takes direction from leadership abilities team.

•  Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 1 year customer service or sales practice in a fast-paced environment

- Age 21+

- A valid, current Oregon Food Handler’s Card

- A valid, current OLCC Servers License

- A valid, current Driver’s License and reliable transportation

- Open availcapability, including nights and weekends

- capability to stand and walk for 8 hours and lift 40 lbs. all over shift
