Faculty and staff in the College provide high-quality graduate and undergraduate degree opportunities and research and service programs that enable students to achieve their career goals and that promote a strong, sustainable future for our region. Job tasks STEM instructor and content contributor. The employee will be directly involved in teaching three, one week long STEM camps for students from Title 1 schools from Eastern North Carolina. The employee will deliver presentations and supervise hands on labs for high-school students on topics such as: electronics, sensors, embedded platforms, python programming, software defined radios and artificial intelligence. The employee will also be involved in curriculum planning and class preparation, student assessment and industry engagement. The employee is an important contributor, leveraging past practice of STEM camp delivery to improve this iteration of the camp.
