Job Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Administrative Program adjunct within the Department of Microbiology at Oregon State University (OSU).

This position will function as the Graduate Program adjunct for the Department of Microbiology, and report to the adjunct to the Microbiology Department Head. The Graduate Program adjunct will be responsible for working with faculty, graduate students, and the Microbiology Graduate Affairs Committee to coordinate the Microbiology graduate program.

The primary mission of the OSU Microbiology Department is to provide a program of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral education in microbiology and to conduct research and scholarly activities in the diverse fields of microbiological study. The department offers (H)BS degrees in Microbiology and BioHealth Sciences, and MS and PhD degrees in Microbiology. The department has about 24 faculty members (tenure-track and fixed term), 40 graduate students and approximately 900 undergraduate majors.

What We Require Three years of office practice which included two years at full performance level and practice generating documents; and Lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.

What You Will Need This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
