tasks & Job responsibilities: Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to enhance the brand and reputation of the University of Memphis.

Utilize data to develop and implement marketing strategies for university departments, colleges and schools to align with the University's strategic plan. Assesses the effectiveness and satisfaction of marketing and outreach strategies on an continuing basis. Assess and implement inter- and intra-departmental tools and systems needed to coordinate comprehensive marketing and brand management across the university.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provide leadership abilities and direction for division staff to bring attention and solutions to institutional priorities that support the University's strategic plan and division priorities. Supervises marketing efforts to ensure the timely delivery of brand compliant collateral across all channels that supports the vision, mission and strategic direction of the institution.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Serve as a central point of contact with the ad agencies to recommend marketing strategies and advertising placements. Manage outside vendor relationships, including consultants, freelancers, printers and other providers of marketing and communication services.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Develop policies and procedures related to marketing and communication activities of the University. Evaluates effectiveness of marketing programs. Stay abreast of industry best practices to enhance strategy and decision-making including marketing technologies and tools to optimize marketing efforts including Slate (the university's customer relationship management system) and marketing automation and analytic platforms.

Research emerging trends in marketing program development, design and implementation and establish/maintain high-quality standards all over the University. Align tracking and assessment efforts for marketing and brand with systems already in place within the department.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy aligned with business goals, utilizing channels such as digital advertising, SEO, SEM and social media. Ensure the University of Memphis brand is well-defined and consistently executed (design, style and voice) across channels in a way that resonates with multiple audiences (including students, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, partners, community, etc.) to meet the strategic goals of the University.
