Five (5) years practice as a reporter in the everyday print or digital newspaper industry. Special Conditions: This is a limited funded position with continuation contingent upon funding availcapability. The department is especially interested in candidates with ten years of work as a reporter and/or editor in the everyday print or digital newspaper news industry in an urban news market. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May need to work/travel beyond normal schedule. Posting Date: 02/16/2024 Closing Date: 05/09/2024 Open Until Screening Begins: No Hiring Range: $70,000 - $75,000 per year Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time: Benefits Eligible Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
