The position is responsible for the development and management of content for a variety of communications, publications, promotional materials and managing social media. This position will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the capability to work independently and as part of a team. This position works directly with the Student Affairs communications team and the Public Relations and Marketing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to advance the vision of Student Affairs at Austin Peay State University. Austin Peay State University is a four-year public, doctoral-level university, with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 9,000 students and is located in Clarksville, Tennessee, a community of an estimated 166,000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville, TN Primary tasks and Job responsibilities: Communications and Marketing » Procure and write original content for publications, web pages, emails, brochures, flyers, and other types of marketing and informative communications. » Create, curate, and produce content and layout for newsfeed and division newsletters. » Write and edit original marketing and promotional content for other division projects. » Produce, review, and proofread content, design and layout with lens of established branding guidelines and style. » Review related images to ensure standards and quality projects. » Develop and manage engaging and appropriate content and create graphics for social media accounts and apps. » contact with the APSU Office of Public Relations and Marketing, Govs Print and other communications teams. » Ensure adherence to APSU Public Relations and Division of Student Affairs branding, procedures, processes and guidelines to produce routine and special publications across multimedia including print. » Assist lead staff and team members to conduct maintenance and updates of webpages. » Maintain processes connected with content such as forms, databases, etc. and assist with managing connected software platforms.
