Candidates must possess a minimum of seven to ten years’ practice in multi-family, mixed-use projects, hotels, and commercial retail design. Key qualifications include demonstrated design talent and to work closely with firm principal to execute and support the design in a collaborative effort. Excellent communication expertise, leadership abilities and presentation expertise are required. Specific Job responsibilities: » Develop architectural planning and design concept under the direction of theProject Principal. » Lead client programming meetings and design presentations » Coordinate architectural design and building systems with engineering consultants » Supervise project design drawing and detailing by Junior and Intermediate production staff » Work with City and/or County agencies to resolve code related issues » Support all over the project construction phase by responding to RFI’s and reviewing shop submittals Appropriate qualifications: » Revit practice minimum five years » Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture » practice in design and detailing projects through construction documentation » capability to speak confidently in public and lead presentations » Strong team worker » Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, 3D studio » capability to complete a full set of documents from design development phase, construction document phase and to coordinate with all consultants in preparation for a RTI building permit. » capability to work closely with firm principal and production team from schematic design through project completion. » expertise of local codes; (Santa Monica, Los Angeles) including Disabled Access requirements.
