The anticipated starting income will be $90,000 - $110,000.

Job Summary University Human Resources is seeking an HR Strategic Partner. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

The HR Strategic Partner (HRSP) plays a crucial function in fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and belonging-oriented environment within the organization. Their responsibilities extend beyond traditional HR functions, encompassing a holistic approach to talent management and organizational success.

Key contributions include:
   »Translating Organizational Priorities : The HRSP translates high-level organizational priorities into actionable steps that attract, develop, and retain talent. They align these actions with the strategic goals of the assigned client group.
   »Consultant and Trusted Advisor : As a key consultant, the HRSP collaborates closely with executive leadership abilities. They provide expert guidance on matters related to talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness. Their insights are grounded in DEIB principles.
   »Financial Literacy and Cultural consciousness : The HRSP maintains a deep knowledge of the client group's financial position and organizational plans. Simultaneously, they stay attuned to the overall culture, recognizing the impact of DEIB on employee engagement and performance.
   »Partnerships and Collaboration : The HRSP actively forms partnerships with university stakeholders and leadership abilities. Together, they co-create solutions that enhance the employee practice, aligning with the organization's vision, mission, values, and goals.
   »Change Agent : In a dynamic environment, the HRSP acts as a change agent. They drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Whether it's policy updates, training programs, or cultural shifts, the HRSP champions positive change.
   »Integrated HR Solutions : Beyond transactional HR tasks, the HRSP delivers strategic, value-added solutions. These solutions address both leadership abilities and employee needs, fostering an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

What You Will Need
   » Bachelor's Degree in field significant to assigned responsibilities and 5 years' practice providing human resource consultation and strategy OR an equivalent combination of significant education and practice.
   » Demonstrated practice leading broad organizational development initiatives.
   » Significant demonstrated practice defining and leading change management programs across a broad range of diverse audiences.
   » Proven history of helping leaders attract, retain and develop high performance teams while creating belonging and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
   » Proven capability to influence high-impact decisions, provide critical feedback, and lead difficult conversations.
   » Demonstrated capability to analyze various data and make linkages across complex organizational or business concepts, strategy, structure and processes.
   » Demonstrated knowledge of compensation strategy.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule The work assigned to this position will be located onsite with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule that will allow some flexibility to work remotely. Work may be performed during standard working hours, M-F, but may occasionally require work on evenings or weekends.
