Minimum practice/Education At least 1 year of maintenance practice. At least 1 year of working expertise and past practice in use of hand and power tools. capability to safely lift up to 60 pounds.

Departmental Preferred practice, expertise, Training/suitable education practice in painting walls. Working expertise and past practice in performing drywall repairs and finish work. expertise of and/or capability to operate UPS shipping software.

tasks and Responsibilities Assist with prepping and painting walls. Assist with drywall repairs (taping, corner bread, and final finish). Assist with assembly and small repairs to furniture and office equipment. Assist with assembly, disassembly, and moving of various library shelving. Collecting recyclables all over the building. Resetting furniture in study rooms. Assist with faculty and staff relocations all over the building. Assist with event set-up and break-down. Assisting with special projects.

Other Work/Responsibilities Serve as backup for Mail Room coverage. Assist with deliveries within the building and on campus. Other tasks as assigned.

Necessary Licenses or Certifications Must have a valid NC driver's license.
