About the function
As our Social Media & Website Coordinator , you will play a key function in ensuring SAADA's success. You will work closely with SAADA's Executive Director and Senior Program Manager and use your strong writing, design, and editing expertise, to help us execute a social media and communications strategy that boosts SAADA's brand identity and consciousness. This is a position that requires a high attention to detail, a creative mindset, and strong communication expertise.

Over the past fifteen years, SAADA has grown from a modest digital repository to a powerhouse of South Asian American stories. Our archive, storytelling projects, exhibits, artistic partnerships, walking tours, lesson plans, and books reflect a community of over 6.1 million individuals and more than 250 years of history. Your function & Job responsibilities:
   » Serving as lead writer, editor, and designer on a range of communications projects and materials, with an emphasis on digital platforms. Content includes weekly email updates, social media posts, website copy and design elements, press releases, reports, and communication with constituents.
   » Managing day-to-day operations of social media channels and email lists, including responding to press inquiries and social media messages.
   » Maintaining the front-end and back-end content and organization of our website and ?gift shop? e-commerce website through copywriting, interface design, and the creation of visual content.
   » Collaborating with SAADA's Executive Director, Senior Program Manager, and other staff to create and maintain a content calendar for all communication channels.
   » superviseing all dimensions of communications projects, including managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, milestones, and relationships with collaborators, so that elements of each project are on track to meet deadlines and fulfill goals.
   » Implementing consistent brand identity for all organizational products, including PowerPoint slides, emails, and written communication.
   » Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Background & Skill Set:
   » At least 3 years of communications/media practice.
   » Familiarity with (or capability to quickly learn) the following platforms: Drupal (website), Shopify (e-commerce), Later (social media scheduling).
   » Strong communication expertise, both written and verbal.
   » Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
   » capability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
   » capability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
   » Flexibility and adaptcapability to changing priorities and deadlines.
   » Commitment to confidentiality, an capability to exercise discretion, and a high level of professionalism.

income & Benefits
The pay range for this position $26.44 - $31.25 / hour. Flexible hours are available during the SAADA workday (Monday-Friday; 9:30am to 5:30pm). This position is located in SAADA's Philadelphia office, located at 1650 Arch Street, Suite 2130, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
