Science History InstituteThe Science History Institute is seeking a full-time Director of Accounting to plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the Institute's accounting, audit, financial, and regulatory functions and systems. The Director of Accounting will support the Chief Financial agent with systems and processes to manage the organization's endowment and investment managers. This position will also establish and maintain a strong system of internal controls designed to mitigate all forms of risk, ensure the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Other tasks include supervising a Staff Accountant and Accounting Specialist.
