Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, education, or a related field and seven (7) years of practice in related field, preferably in education.
OR
Master's degree in finance, business administration, education, or a related field and five (5) years of practice in related field, preferably in education.

Special Conditions: Initial screening will begin Friday, April 19, 2024 and will occur each Friday thereafter until a candidate has been identified.

The department is especially interested in candidates with the following:

Proven practice in federal program management, compliance, and financial oversight within a K-12 or higher education environment.

Strong knowledge of federal education regulations, grant management, and financial analysis.

Excellent leadership abilities, communication, and interpersonal expertise.

capability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build effective working relationships.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule

This position plays a critical function in optimizing federal funding, maintaining adherence to regulatory guidelines, and ensuring financial stcapability for all schools across the Innovative School District.

   » Develop, implement, and monitor K-12 federal programs in alignment with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
   » Stay abreast of changes in federal education policies and programs, ensuring timely adaptation to new requirements.
   » Collaborate with district leadership abilities and pre-awards coordinators to submit federal program funding requests as required.
   » Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal program requirements, including Title I, Title II, Title III, IDEA, and other significant initiatives.

   » Collaborate with school administrators, department heads, and educators to understand programmatic needs and align financial resources accordingly.

   » Supervise business and finance staff for University Schools, and serve as a liaison to state, local and university business and finance partners.
