POSITION OVERVIEW Ohlson Lavoie Corporation is expanding and has an opening for a Florida licensed Architect with a zest for Business Development and skills in Construction Administration. This Architect will assist in the establishment of a new branch office in the Palm Beach, Florida area and will be on track for leadership abilities and ownership. OLC currently holds contracts in excess of $80 million in construction cost in the Palm Beach area in different stages of design and construction. Please check out our website to see if our project types meet your interests and background. olcdesigns.com RESPONSIBILITIES » Work with principal and senior architects to develop design ideas, considering client’s needs, building’s usage, and existing context. » Produce detailed design and construction drawings. » Ensure that all work is carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations. » Be OLC’s representative in South Florida, conduct all in-person construction administration work, including conducting onsite visits to check on project status, attend OAC meetings, and report on project and contact with construction professionals and engineering consultants. » Lead the business development effort in South Florida and participate in local organizations to gain as much exposure for OLC as possible.
