Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Additional Working Conditions: The employee is required to move up to 50lbs unassisted on a regular basis.

Job tasks

tasks & Job responsibilities: Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and calibrates electronic laboratory bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and multimeters. Examines malfunctioning equipment; diagnoses and corrects problems; tests for proper operation.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Performs routine laboratory maintenance functions including inventory of parts and supplies and general facility organization. Coordinate lab safety and hazardous materials. Train students, faculty, and other staff on safe operating procedure for labs and equipment.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Advises faculty and researchers on projects and equipment; prepares and presents practiccapability estimates.
