Posting Details (Default Section)Posting Number:: 20240572T Position Title:: Athletics Media Relations Intern Employment type:: Temp/Intern Job location:: Villanova, PA Work Schedule:: full-time/10-months Approximate Number of Hours per Week: 35 Department:: 731-Athletics - Media Relations Position Summary:: The Media Relations Intern provides support to the day-to-day operational activities in the Media Relations Office. tasks and Job responsibilities:: » Serve as the media relations contact for selected Olympic sports. » Publish media guides for assigned sports. » Assist with game management responsibilities at all men's and women's basketball games and football games. » Write and edit various department newsletters. » Help maintain department website. » Perform office tasks as assigned by department manager. » All tasks and responsibilities must be completed in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Minimum Appropriate qualifications:: » Bachelor's degree required. Preferred Appropriate qualifications:: » At least 1 year of collegiate media relations practice. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: : » Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
