BDP is seeking a Junior Architect/Designer to contribute to the growth and success of our new studio in New York City. About you Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture » 2-5 years of post-graduate, professional practice » Entrepreneurial drive, self-starter, takes initiative » Exceptional research, design and graphic expertise » expertise of technical details and construction types » expertise of zoning bylaws, building codes, and accessibility standards » practice in Residential/Mixed-Use; Interiors; Media; Retail; and/or Inclusive Design, preferably in NYC » Fluent in ACAD, REVIT/BIM, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization and related design software » Excellent organizational, time management expertise and capability to effectively meet deadlines » consciousness of environmental and social issues as Information technology relates to design » practice in the production of drawings through all phases of design and construction » capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in teams » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise » Legally authorized to work in the United States » income range $ 60,000 - $75,000 commensurate with practice.
