Job Summary The College Assistance Migrant Program is seeking an Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

The CAMP Outreach & Recruiter provides information to target communities and prospective CAMP students and the families about eligibility requirements to participate in CAMP. Information will be provided about at OSU CAMP and the CAMP Community Colleges Alliance Program (CAMP CCAP) with information about OSU, BMCC, CGCC, and LBCC including the support and services that CAMP can provide in helping students from migrant/seasonal farmworker families to access and succeed at OSU. The person in this position will help the program meet the important goal of serving the target number of students each year of the grant cycle. This person helps the university by enhancing the level and types of diversity present in the student body.

What You Will Need
   » Bachelor's degree in Education Counseling, Student Services, or field related to area of assignment.
   » At least one year of practice in working with the migrant farm worker population.
   » A demonstrable commitment to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive environment.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030.

What We Would Like You to Have Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Working Conditions / Work Schedule Regular 8:00 - 5:00PM office work. Some weekend or evening work required.
