Preferred Appropriate qualifications: · Master's degree in data journalism/mass communication or a related field. Special Conditions: This position will have an initial screening date of June 26, and each Wednesday thereafter. The institute is an arm of the University of Memphis but is largely externally funded through outside foundations and individual donors. The prosperous candidate's continued employment beyond one year is dependent on the continued availcapability of funding. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May need to work/travel beyond normal schedule. Posting Date: 06/12/2024 Closing Date: Open Until Screening Begins: Yes Hiring Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time: Benefits Eligible Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
