Candidates should possess 3+ years of practice in the intellectual property field (including patent application preparation and prosecution, opinions and client counseling), possess strong writing/analytical expertise, superior academic credentials, and a technical background in biology, genetics, cell biology, microbiology, molecular biology or a related field. An advanced technical degree is desirable, but not required. All candidates must be registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a minimum of three years.
