tasks & Job responsibilities: Human Resources Support:
Reviews and prepares HR documents (electronic and paper) for all units in DIA and direct reports with position reviews, job descriptions and tasks as vacancies occur, suggest updates as necessary. Initiates, reviews, and submits WorkforUM actions. Approves EPAF's. Prepares personnel forms using the E-contract system for Temporary hires, Student Workers, GA contracts as well as Intensive English instructor contracts/paperwork, Extra Comp and Faculty Summer Comp contracts.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Financial Management - Banner:
Reviews Banner Finance and Banner HR reports to ensure budgets and actual expenses correlate. Researches and resolves problems. Prepares budget revisions and financial reports to monitor and supervise expenditures. Reviews and reconciles accounts monthly.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Financial Management - Administrative
Monitors and processes financial transactions of the Division, including scrutinizing transactions for compliance/accuracy, and ensuring internal controls are maintained for departmental activities. Analyzes and interprets financial data and other information. Prepares financial and administrative reports for administrative planning purposes; prepares budget information for executive presentations.

Controls expenditures in conformity with unit's goals, objectives and budget; reviews and place orders for purchase of supplies, services and equipment; evaluates and recommends improvements in cost control practices. Analyzes and interprets financial data and other information. Creates and updates short- and long-range financial plans reflecting all critical issues.
Assesses operational challenges and opportunities, working with units leadership abilities to develop solutions and assist with development of strategic plan and budget requests.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Office Management:
Serves as part of the administrative leadership abilities team for the division; reviews income requests and provide recommendations; reviews hiring actions for compliance with university policies and procedures. Gathers and collates materials for internal distribution and presentation and/or distribution to specified outside parties. Performs standard to complex research by collecting and analyzing information; assists in preparing comprehensive reports. Schedules and organizes meetings and other events on behalf of the DIA leadership abilities, by making reservation/rental/audio-visual/catering arrangements and preparing agendas.

Serves as department liaison with University and Student Business Services and Financial Aid Office. Processes payments to vendors. Issues assignments to front desk team and ensure that the office is providing proper assistance. Maintains office staff schedules and tasks. Monitors front desk work and activities.
