Job Opportunity: Digital Engagement Specialist (Part-Time):WFYIJob description: Digital Engagement Specialist (Part-Time) Listing description POSITION PURPOSEThe part-time Digital Engagement Specialist will join the America Amplified team from approximately mid-August through mid-October. The position will enhance and optimize the organization's digital presence, ensuring effective communication and engagement with our online audience. The function is integral to maintaining a consistent and engaging online presence and driving audience interaction. This position can be fully remote with a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 29 hours per week.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo be prosperous in this function, an individual must be able to accurately, satisfactorily, and timely perform the functions listed below. We will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to execute these functions.» Monitor, manage, and update the organization's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, X, Instagram, and other significant platforms. » Create copy and graphics across all platforms to support America Amplified content including case studies and blog post. » Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools weekly. » In collaboration with the Project Manager and Engagement Trainers, facilitate the creation and distribution of digital assets and templates for America Amplified newsrooms. » Coordinate and produce website graphics for America Amplified content. OTHER FUNCTIONS» Maintain an organized digital asset library.» Assist with the development and updating of digital marketing materials and presentations. » Support the team with other administrative tasks as needed. EDUCATION AND/OR practiceto execute this job prosperously, an individual must have the following education and/or practiceRequired» Journalism practice and/or degree.» Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Google Analytics). » Basic graphic design expertise and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
