Additional Position Information: Job Summary:
The FCBE College Recruiter is primarily responsible for covering the major aspects of recruitment, admissions, and enrollment of new students to The Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis. The FCBE College Recruiter represents the college and university to prospective students and counselors when they visit FCBE and U of M, write or call the office, and when they require special programs or individual counseling. The FCBE College Recruiter implements recruiting strategies all over Tennessee, the Mid-South and the surrounding areas, which necessitates broad travel. The overall purpose of the FCBE College Recruiter is to take an active function in ensuring prospective students have been personally, effectively, and knowledgeably served, while working for the highest yield of enrolled students from the admitted group. This position works in-person and remotely. Must be located in or near Memphis. Information technology requires evening and weekend work and broad travel. This position requires the capability to independently market and promote the college by traveling broadly to local, regional, and national recruiting events, and occasionally to international events and venues. Work involves, but is not limited to; local and domestic, travel, counseling and guidance of candidates for admissions, and rendering of directional services to high school and colleges in the Mid-South region and surrounding states.

tasks & Job responsibilities: In coordination with U of M's Strategic Enrollment Management and the leadership abilities of the Fogelman College of Business & Economics, defines and manages recruitment territories including, communicating regularly with prospective students and families and high school and community college counselors, managing selected correspondence, planning and executing on-and-off campus programs. Work involves, but is not limited to; local and domestic travel, counseling and guidance of candidates for admissions, and rendering of directional services to high school and colleges in the Mid-South region and surrounding states.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Implements, develops, and evaluates new student enrollment initiatives for assigned student groups, developing recruitment strategies, assisting the college with strategic implementation of recruitment activities by identifying strong recruitment approaches and developing and executing new outreach programs. Coordinates with the college Dean, Associate Deans, Chairs, Program Directors, Center Directors, and Marketing Communication teams develop recruitment goals, plans and strategies for regional, national, and international markets supporting all academic programs.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Develops proactive territory management plan to convert students through the stages of the admissions funnel from suspect / prospect student stage to enrollment. Plans and participates in admissions recruitment events on campus and at schools in assigned territory. Consistent use of technology to facilitate communications and data-driven decision-making.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Provides high-level customer service to prospective students and families in office via phone, email, in-person meetings. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling regular visits with students and counselors in assigned territories and focus on maintaining strong relationships with key school contacts.
