Heirs Of My Dream Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in the Sonoma Valley. One of our many objectives is to create an avenue for winemakers to access and excel through our Custom Crush facility. We work with a range of lot sizes and different appellations. We enjoy the art of winemaking and everything that comes with it. We are seeking for an eager, ready, and willing-to-learn, motivated, detail-oriented, hard-working, team member to join our production team. Job Summary: tasks and Responsibilities of Cellar intern: Including but not limited to: • Fermentation monitoring: Punch downs, manual Pump overs, Brix and temp, tank cap inspection. • Assist with tracking and everyday grape receiving. • General Maintenance of the winery • Winery Sanitation, Cleaning and Sanitizing tanks, equipment, machines, cleaning and Sanitizing hoses • Wine transfers, barrels, tanks, kegs. • Barrel Work: Cleaning, sanitizing, soaking, steaming Topping, filling, etc. • Winemaking Job responsibilities: everyday harvest fruit arrival, grape sorting, inspecting fruit, monitoring crushing pad, and press. • Assist winemakers as needed Appropriate qualifications: Able to work long hours, including weekends, and possibly overtime. Maintaining a safe work environment. Maintaining enforced safety protocols. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs, physically challenging tasks, and environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Good to Great communication expertise, both verbal and written. Motivated, eager to learn, can-do attitude. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Forklift practice is a plus.
