Min Hourly Rate $14.70 (Standard); $13.70 (Non-Urban); $15.95 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.00 (Standard); $20.50 (Non-Urban); $21.50 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Graphic Design Associate position for the Orange Media Network at Oregon State University (OSU). The Creative Design Associate is responsible for creating images, layouts, videos, photos, and other designs. You work collaboratively, as part of a creative team, on graphic design projects for OMN, including but not limited to advertising designs, promotional graphics, magazine and newspaper layouts, infographics, motion graphics and web and social media graphics. Position tasks Job responsibilities: » Creative Design Associate Responsibilities » Design advertisements for local businesses for web, print and social media » Build infographics for news publications in print and online » Create marketing and promotional graphics for OMN (e.g., posters, flyers, T-shirts, social media, and motion graphics for video) » Design print publication covers and layouts, in coordination with the Creative lead and the respective editor-in-chief(s) » Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback in future design » Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects » Attend weekly cohort meetings and all trainings » Hold and post 5 - 10 regular office hours each week for OMN, at least half of these hours should be during regular business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday).
