The firm consists of two partners who direct four project architects on several projects at a time. We are pursuing a junior architect to assist the project architects with all aspects of running a job. The position will include preparing simple 3D Sketch-up models for client presentations along with updating construction drawings and schedules. We seek a self-starting, detail oriented, hardworking team player with excellent communication expertise and a sense of humor. Sketch-up and Auto-CAD expertise a must. In office full time. Requirements: » 1-2 years of practice in an architects office. » Proficiency in Auto-CAD, Sketch-UP, Adobe Photoshop, Word and Excel preferred. Essential Functions: » Work directly with the Partners and Project Architects as directed on various tasks. » Update Auto-CAD drawings and specifications as instructed by the Project Architects. » Assist at site meetings; taking notes and photographs.
