Work responsibilities include helping with various office projects and tasks, and a variety of ECU College of Education recruitment, professional development, outreach events, workshops, and programs. tasks will include but are not limited to; data entry, answering phones, filing, making photocopies, shredding documents, typing, printing labels, organizing materials, delivering documents/materials across campus, and other tasks as needed. Must be flexible and willing to help in any area of the Center. capability to use basic office equipment e.g., (desktop computer, multi-line phone, copy machine, scanner, paper cutter, lamination machine), and to work independently with little supervision is appreciated. We appreciate those with initiative, curiosity, problem-solving & multi-tasking expertise, organization expertise, professionalism, and positive work ethic. The College of Education Academic Success Center is open M-F from 8am to 5pm (student will work around their class schedule). Student will work primarily when the Center is open between 8am - 5pm, M-F, however, the position may sometimes require occasional evening and weekend work. Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) · Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook. · Must have good written and oral communication expertise. · Must have the capability to think critically, take initiative, research, and problem-solve. · Must have proficient customer service expertise and the capability to multi-task. · Must be able to plan, organize, multitask, and prioritize. · Must be adaptable and a quick learner. · Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. · Confidentiality is REQUIRED. · Appropriate office/professional casual attire required, no leggings, yoga pants, ripped clothing, hats, nor face jewelry . · Students with majors in Teacher Education programs strongly encouraged to apply.
