Job Description ECU Joyner Library's Teaching Resources Center (TRC) is seeking a student who has exceptional customer service expertise, is positive and flexible, who is able to work independently as well as with others, and who is detail oriented. Education majors are highly encouraged to apply.

Student adjunct tasks include: working at the TRC service desk; assisting library customers by answering informational and directional questions; locating materials; searching the library's online catalog; shelving, shifting and straightening curriculum materials; reading the curriculum shelves to maintain correct call number order; assisting customers with the use of equipment in the production center; processing materials; working with Microsoft Excel and Word; and other projects as assigned.

Various hours are available, including nights and weekend rotations. In the Fall, the Teaching Resources Center is typically open Monday-Thursday from 10am-7pm, Friday from 10am-5pm, Saturdays from 1pm-5pm, and Sundays from 1pm-7pm.

Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) Preferred Appropriate qualifications:
• Reliable and detailed-oriented
• capability to work both independently and with others
• Strong customer service expertise
• Previous library practice
• Education majors
