Job Opportunity: New York, NY, US Thu, Jun 20 '24 Ar:Murdock Solon ArchitectsJob description:Architects/Interior DesignerEmployer:Murdock Solon Architects Job location:New York, NY, US Published:Thu, Jun 20 '24 Pay:$60,000 - $100,000annually Murdock Solon Architects, located in NYC, NY/Portland, ME, a 13-person design firm is seeking architects and interior designers of all levels to take on key responsibilities within a growing practice. These are full-time positions working on our current commercial/residential projects assisting partners and associates. MSA is a full-service architectural and interior firm. Our recent works include townhouse renovations, creative offices, art galleries, high-end residential, and ground-up commercial and hospitality projects. Also, the candidate should have the following requirements. » Degree in Architecture, or related fields. » Excellent AutoCAD, Rhino or Sketch up, and Adobe Suite expertise » knowledge of team communications and construction drawing standards » Strong communication expertise with outside vendors, contractors, and consultants. » Talent/capability to select and develop interior palettes and create concept materials for client and internal presentations » practice with / interest product sourcing (plumbing fixtures, appliances, furniture, door hardware, lighting, etc). practice with purchasing coordination is a plus. » Self-motivation and self-discipline in a collaborative studio environment, capability to organize. » Knowledge of approval process including NYC DOT, LPC or Building Management » Fluency in written and spoken English » Prior practice with hospitality interiors, residential interiors and/or purchasing a plus » Rendering capability » Must reside within New York City commutable region MSA offers competitive salaries, full benefits including PTO, health insurance, 401(k) and summer hours.
