Job Summary The College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, fixed term, Associate Professor of Teaching: Clinical Psychology position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head .

Appointment at the Associate rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the prosperous candidate.

This position is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 9-month, fixed term, non-tenure track Associate Professor of Teaching appointment and the position will have the option to work remotely. Expected tasks include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, mentoring undergraduate students, and providing appropriate service that contributes to the effectiveness of the School, College, University, and profession.

The School of Psychological Science resides in the College of Liberal Arts. The primary mission of the OSU School of Psychological Science is undergraduate and graduate education and research. School offers BA and BS degrees, an undergraduate minor, and a Ph.D. and is launching on online MS in clinical psychology.

This position develops credit-bearing coursework and co-curricular practices for MS Psychology majors. Typical on-load coursework may include courses in Methods and Ethics for Clinical Psychologists; Classification, Diagnosis, and Variation in Clinical Psychology, Graduate Social Psychology, and Graduate Research Methods. On-load teaching may also include PSY 509 Practicum at the practice site. In this way, Psychology majors will have the opportunity to lgain and apply psychology content through an in-depth off-campus practice/internship site.

   » Licensed Psychologist in any U.S. state
   » capability to be licensed as clinical psychologist in Oregon
   » Record of scholarship in area of applied psychology
   » practice teaching online, hybrid, and/or face-to-face undergraduate psychology courses.
   » Local, regional, or national reputation as making significant contributions appropriate to the rank and discipline.
   » practice providing clinical supervision to graduate students
   » practice providing CBT, ACT, and/or ERP
   » Must meet criteria for appointment at the specified rank within the Professor of Teaching series as detailed in the OSU Promotion & Tenure guidelines.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
