Your function: As our newest team member, you'll begin by learning our process of establishing/administering timber sales, developing forest management plans and communicating with landowners, loggers, timber buyers and other stakeholders. Once acclimated, you'll take lead on projects and work closely with our team to manage and supervise your own projects. We’ll welcome new ideas and encourage you to take an active function in improving our systems and processes. What We Offer: » Full-time position » Competitive compensation commensurate with practice ($50-65K per year) » Flexible work schedule, typically 40 hours per week, with flex options for a summer schedule to take advantage of longer daylight hours and have extended weekends. Qualifications What expertise and Trails We'll Need From You: 3+ years of forestry practice, including timber marking and sale administration. Being a WI DNR Certified Plan Writer (CPW) would be an added bonus. knowledge of forest management practices and logging operations, ideally with practice or knowledge in the driftless area of Wisconsin 4-year degree in forest management from an accredited university. Comfortable working independently in various weather conditions and on uneven, hilly terrain. Proficient with spreadsheets, GIS mapping, project management and client communication. Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle for off-road work.
