Job description:

Intermediate Designer/Architect - Revit

Employer:OpenScope Studio
Job location:San Francisco, CA, US
Published:Wed, Oct 9 '24
Pay:$68,000 - $80,000annually

OpenScope Studio is a small firm (14 people) operating all over California. Much of our current work is housing at a variety of scales, and this includes a number of different typologies: multifamily ADUs, co-living, multi-family, and single family. We are also designing new construction work at the airport, and commercial tenant improvements.
We are pursuing an intermediate designer or architect with strong Revit expertise, a familiarity with the California Building Code and practice on a variety of project types to join our award-winning practice. We are seeking to find a long-term contributor to our team who can appreciate the potential for career growth at a growing firm. This is a position where you will be required to effectively multitask on a everyday basis and we expect all staff to take on project management responsibilities. Information technology is expected that site visits around the Bay Area will be required both to collect information about new projects and to do construction administration.

It is expected that all candidates will have a professional workspace at home as we are working on a hybrid model and staff will be expected to be able to take video calls while working remotely. The job will initially require attendance at our Potrero Hill office at least 3 days a week and will eventually require work (2-3 days per week) at the San Francisco International Airport with a project team at an on site office during the production of construction documents for that project.
