Job Offer: Patent Attorney – Law Firm – Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid):Job description:Patent Attorney – Law Firm – Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)August 19, 2024- US - Midwest, Emp - Law Firm, Tech - Electrical, Tech - Mechanical, Work - Patent ProsecutionMueting Raasch Group, a large law firm, is seeking a Patent Attorney to work in Minneapolis, MN Essential tasks/Job responsibilities: » Patent Applications, Patent Preparation, and Due Diligence. » Knowledge of Patent Law and Patentcapability assessments. » practice in intellectual property and patent-related matters. » Evaluates vicapability of patent requests; completes and files patent applications. » Maintains knowledge of scientific, technological, and legal developments including completion of continuing legal education. Job Requirements/Abilities: » Superior verbal and written communication expertise. » Thorough knowledge of technology and scientific developments. » Thorough knowledge of intellectual property law with emphasis on patent prosecution. » Excellent interpersonal and client service expertise. » Excellent organizational expertise and attention to detail. » Excellent time management expertise with a proven capability to meet deadlines. » Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving expertise. » capability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. » capability to function well in a high-paced/volume, and at times, stressful environment. » Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 or related Education and practice: » Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical, or an advanced chemical or biotech degree, required. » A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, required. » Active license to practice law and in good standing, required. » Registration to practice before the USPTO, required. » Previous practice working in a law firm, corporate legal department, or tech transfer office. Physical Requirements: » Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. » Occasional lifting of objects of up to 25 pounds. Education and practice: » Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical, or an advanced chemical or biotech degree, required. » A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, required. » Active license to practice law and in good standing, required. » Registration to practice before the USPTO, required. » Previous practice working in a law firm, corporate legal department, or tech transfer office.
