tasks & Job responsibilities: Manage the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's front of office. Train, schedule, and supervise student workers to execute reception tasks; delegate assigned projects. Serves as final authority for managing incoming phone calls, providing information to callers, screening requests on behalf of manager, or referring calls to appropriate person. Reads and determines disposition of incoming mail; composes correspondence for routine inquiries; prepares letters and packages for mailing.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Event Management: Assists with planning and making arrangements for events, seminars, conferences, and external speakers including catering, travel coordination and purchase orders, honorarium payments, making any necessary room rental or booking, and event marketing materials and decor. Assists CAS Director of Administration and Administrative Associate II with planning special events, including but not limited to Annual Chairs retreat, Staff Appreciation Luncheon, and New Faculty reception.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Administrative/Clerical: Acts as primary administrative support personnel for the Associate Dean of Natural Sciences, assists with PDA, FRG, ECRA, projects, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Provides administrative support to the Director of Interdisciplinary Studies and programs.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Financial Management: Serves as financial designee; Prepares and approves financial documents for CAS Dean's office such as cash and meal reimbursements. Provides coverage/backup to CAS departmental staff by completing financial tasks such as reimbursements when primary CAS department staff members are out of office. When needed, assists departments with front desk coverage by delegating student worker support and coverage. The College of Arts and Sciences is comprised of 24 academic units, ROTC, and multiple research centers.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Maintains multiple calendars and schedules; makes appointments; Schedules all room reservations and meetings for the CAS office through EMS, as well as backup for other departments in the college.

tasks & Job responsibilities: Inventory/Purchasing: Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies, forms, and other materials; initiates orders for CAS in TigerBuy. Contacts maintenance and physical plant for equipment servicing, as well as other repairs and requests for CAS.
