Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Development and Marketing, the Director of Business Development and Fundraising is a pivotal member of PBS12's leadership abilities team. this function is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive outreach and fundraising strategies to drive growth, impact, and revenue for the organization. Key Job responsibilities: » Develop and implement strategic plans to secure corporate support, including identifying and cultivating new partnerships while enhancing existing relationships. Create sponsorship and underwriting strategies to maximize revenue. » Collaborate with content, production, and marketing teams to support fundraising efforts, ensuring financial backing for television content, events, and new initiatives. » Partner with the VP of Development and Marketing to establish annual revenue growth plans, focusing on acquiring and retaining foundations, corporations, institutional partners, donors, and members. » supervise the membership program, including direct mail campaigns, renewals, and stewardship initiatives. Coordinate with marketing to ensure timely member communications. » Report on the ROI of development, fundraising, and membership activities, ensuring achievement of annual revenue goals. » Cultivate and steward major donors, corporate partners, and members through outreach, community engagement, and events (some nights and weekends required). » Monitor financial progress against budgetary goals and implement corrective actions to achieve development targets. » Utilize CRM platforms to manage member, donor, and corporate relationships, leveraging data analysis for acquisition and growth strategies. » Develop and manage fundraising pipelines, generating new donor relationships, and nurturing existing ones. » Schedule and conduct meetings with PBS12 members, donors, and partners. Minimum Appropriate qualifications: » Bachelor's or master's degree. » 5-7 years of practice in business development, sales, fundraising, advertising, or related field. expertise and Abilities: » Strong analytical expertise with the capability to identify issues, gather information, compare data, and propose solutions. » Demonstrated business acumen and relicapability. » Excellent written and oral communication expertise. » Proficiency with CRM database systems and Microsoft Suite. advantages: PBS12 offers a comprehensive benefits package with 100% employer-sponsored medical, dental, LTD, and a $25k life insurance policy along with access to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
