Since its inception the firm’s design ethos has been deeply rooted in the principles of humanism. At every scale and for every condition, Selldorf Architects designs for the individual practice. Selldorf Architects is seeking an Architectural Intern for the Fall semester who is a creative, focused, and passionate individual who demonstrates a keen interest in working in a team environment on sophisticated and complex project. Job responsibilities: » Assist the team in general preparation of design and presentation documentation » Will produce virtual models and 3-D visualizations/renderings » Develop knowledge of building materials, details and construction and documentation techniques » Will build architectural models at various scales » Conducts research or consults with specialists for assistance in document preparation » Committed to learning about the field of architecture and design Requirements: » candidates must be enrolled in a 4-5-year architectural undergraduate degree or Master’s program and have completed a minimum of 2 years. » Previous practice in an architectural office or related field desirable. » Basic abilities in drawing and rendering required. » Model building expertise are required » Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Applications and 3D Visualization Programs including Rhino » capability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. » capability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. » capability to complete tasks with accuracy and precision and with strong attention to detail. » capability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined. » capability to work with integrity, trust, commitment, setting an example for others »Required to be in-person Qualified candidates should send a PDF of portfolio and resume to: [emailprotected] Files should not exceed 10MB in size.Please mark “Architecture Internship” in the subject line.
