Library adjuncts at the WINTERVILLE LIBRARY located at 2618 Railroad Street, Winterville, must be able to shelve books and other library materials, re-shelve stray materials, straighten materials on the shelves, make sure materials are in their correct place on the shelves, check-in and check-out library materials, collect fines and fees, issue library cards, direct patrons to various resources, answer the telephone, assist with the Summer Reading Program, and other tasks as requested. This position requires the capability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions. A candidate for this position must be physically and mentally alert while performing a variety of tasks. They must have the capability to operate computers using various software applications, and they may be required to operate a cash register.
