Ideal candidate has 3-8 years practice, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite expertise, and a passion for thoughtful design. Responsibilities for the Junior Architect position include the development of project design and documentation, technical detailing, consultant coordination, preparation of project deliverables, and permit processes, and construction administration under the guidance of a project principal. Qualifications and responsibilities for this position include: » An accredited professional architecture degree (B. Arch or M. Arch) » Three (3) to Eight (8) years of professional post-graduate architecture firm practice » Architect license or in the process of licensure » Three (3) or more years practice working in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite » Demonstrated practice in documentation, coordination, and delivery of small to mid-size projects from schematic design through construction administration » A passion for community-focused design projects, adaptive reuse, and sustainable design » capability to prepare and participate in meetings with clients, consultants and team members. » capability and desire to research, coordinate, and propose solutions to unique and challenging code and jurisdictional requirements. » Able to work on site in Olympia, WA In addition, candidates should have strong graphic, written, and verbal communication expertise and the capability to work effectively both in teams and independently. Candidates should be self-motivated and be interested to participate in a collaborative and creative studio environment with a culture of learning and excellence.
