Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates with demonstrated teaching and counseling practice with students who have diagnosed learning disabilities and/or deficiencies. The department is also especially interested in candidates who have practice working in a D1 Athletic Academic environment. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This position may require flexible hours located on the needs of the program which may include evenings and/or weekends. Serves as the primary liaison for discapability services, counseling center, and sports medicine and athletic training. tasks & Job responsibilities: Communicates with Student Discapability Services (SDS) office on campus for all student-athletes using their services and then communicate updates to CAAS Staff. tasks & Job responsibilities: Schedules academic mentoring sessions for student-athletes with learning disabilities. supervises everyday study hall coordination and mentor assignments. tasks & Job responsibilities: Assists with training and oversight of academic mentors. tasks & Job responsibilities: Assists CAAS staff in hiring/recruiting/training of academic mentors and tutors. tasks & Job responsibilities: Other tasks as assigned.
