Job Summary Student Health Services is seeking a Medical adjunct Manager. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

The Student Health Services mission is to provide leadership abilities for the health of the University community. This position contributes to the mission of OSU Student Health through teamwork and collaboration, participates in organizational committees, provides University outreach, and strives to contribute to the academic success of OSU students.

The Medical adjunct Manager is a member of the Management Team, helping to make overall decisions concerning OSU Student Health organizational mission, vision, values, objectives, and policies. The Medical adjunct Manager is responsible for overall supervision and provision of medical assisting in the OSU Student Health Services.

This position is deemed essential and the incumbent may be expected to report to work during inclement weather, emergency and other University work curtailments or closures. The incumbent is expected to check in with their direct manager or unit leadership abilities everyday during University delays or closures to determine if they are required to report to work.

The Medical adjunct Manager reports to the SHS Clinical Services Director.

What You Will Need
   » Certified Medical adjunct (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical adjunct (CCMA) or Registered Medical adjunct (RMA)
   » Current BLS certificate; BLS certification must be maintained at all times while employed.
   » Two years' practice providing healthcare support in an ambulatory human healthcare facility.
   » Two years serving in a managery, management, or lead position in an ambulatory human healthcare facility.
   » Two years' demonstrated practice in entering, manipulating and retrieving data from an electronic medical record.
   » Demonstrated capability to lgain new technology and software.
   » Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise.
   » Exceptional organizational and prioritizing expertise.
   » A demonstrable commitment to enhancing and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, including a availability to lgain varying cultural medical practices to holistically support patients of diverse cultural backgrounds.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
