Job Summary Oregon State University Athletic Training is seeking qualified candidates for an adjunct or Associate Athletic Trainer position with the sport assignment of Men's Basketball. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

The prosperous candidate will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and gain professional practice in the Division 1 setting. Oregon State prides itself in a tight-knit community atmosphere where all members of the athletic department work to support one another and achieve goals. Located in the mid-Willamette Valley, this classic ?college town? enjoys easy access to the Oregon Coast, Cascade Mountain range and Oregon wine country.

adjunct Athletic Trainer job tasks will include but are not limited to: injury/illness avoidance, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; practice/event coverage; and day-to-day communication with coaches, supervising athletic trainers, and other healthcare providers. OSU Athletic trainers are responsible for supervision of entry-level master's athletic training students, assisting in the everyday operations of the Athletic Training facilities and administrative tasks as assigned.

For candidates qualifying for Associate Athletic Trainer, this function provides a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on athletic training, take on advanced administrative responsibilities, and develop leadership abilities skills. It's an ideal fit for professionals who want to make a significant contribution to their assigned team and the Athletic Training unit as a whole. This position is designed to equip you with the skills needed for future leadership abilities functions within athletic training.

What You Will Need BOTH adjunct & ASSOCIATE:
   » Master's degree.
   » BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
   » Minimum of 1 year certified practice
   » Oregon State Athletic Trainer license or eligible.
   » Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED).
   » The capability to lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing 50 pounds.
   » Demonstrated capability to communicate in a manner that shows respect and inclusivity for all co-workers and internal customers.

Additional Required Qualifications for ASSOCIATE:
   » Minimum of 8 years certified practice.
BOTH:
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030.
