We are specifically seeking a pre-20th century Americanist who can also teach in another subspecialization of literature, such as world literature, early British literature, Atlantic world literature, or Indigenous Studies. Candidates should also be prepared to teach a range of classes, from graduate seminars to sophomore literature surveys or first and second semester composition courses as needed. What You'll Do - Position Job responsibilities: » Implement effective teaching strategies. » Maintain an active research agenda that includes publication of research in peer-reviewed journals and presentation of scholarship at conferences. » Actively participate in academic service at the department, college, and university levels.
