Primary Purpose of Position This position serves as the adjunct Equipment Manager for Football with responsibility for providing assistance with all areas of the football equipment room to include forecasting of equipment needs, allocation, maintenance, repair, and replacement. Employee must be AEMA (Athletic Equipment Managers Association) certified or possess capability to obtain certification within one calendar year. Minimum Education/practice Required Minimum Appropriate qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency. University Preferred Appropriate qualifications: Graduation from high school or prosperous completion of its equivalency and one year of significant practice in the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and practice. Essential Job tasks » The adjunct Director of Football Equipment is responsible for assisting the Director of Football Equipment in all aspects of an NCAA DI football room. » Functions include but are not limited to: ordering and receiving of gear and apparel, maintaining accurate inventory records and files, laundering and repair of equipment. » Stay informed of and adhere to all NCAA, conference affiliation, and university rules and regulations.
