[place] is a landscape and architectural design studio that creates innovative, engaging, and site-specific spaces. Our unique perspective derives from our practice as both architects and landscape designers— approaching every project as a unique opportunity to integrate the site with the architectural practice. The studio atmosphere, while working remotely, allows for an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative approach from concept through construction. Our projects cover a variety of sizes and typologies, ranging from large creative and cultural campuses tosmall scale residential gardens. Ideal candidates have the following expertise: 1 to 2 years of practice minimum Eagerness to lgain A high degree of self-motivation, responsibility, flexibility, and resourcefulness Strong design, graphic, and organizational expertise An capability to work independently and collaboratively expertise of Southern California planting materials, and technical aspects of landscape design Strong written and verbal communication expertise High proficiency with Autocad, Sketch-up and Adobe CS practice with MS Office Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture Compensation is commensurate with expertise and practice.
