Assist with coding, analysis and findings on several research projects, including quantitative data cleaning and running statistical descriptives utilizing statistical software b. Conduct literature reviews, analytical bibliographies c. Potential to assist with drafting research manuscripts (co-authorship credit opportunity) d. Ensure sensitive data is kept secure and confidential e. Have or be able to complete required IRB (CITI) certification f. Other tasks as assigned Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) a. No specific major: must have practice in conducting data analysis beyond classwork. b. Demonstrated capability to work with data utilizing STATA and/or SPSS c. Have an interest in social science research on addictions (specific interest related to gambling preferred) d. Demonstrated capability to work independently and as part of a team e. Must have availcapability to work a minimum of 10 hours/week during traditional workday hours (M-F). Any additional hours may be worked outside of the typical workday. f. Comfort working with diverse populations.
