We are located in the heart of the Moon Mountain District in Sonoma and produce artisanal wines for three individually focused luxury brands.Repris Wines produces a lineup of Bordeaux and Rhône-inspired wines sourced from the historic Moon Mountain Vineyard. The property includes 18,000 square feet of natural rock caves and a 60+ acre, organic vineyard planted to 15 varieties on 435 total acres that are mere steps away from the cellar. Pangloss Cellars is dedicated to crafting distinctive, small-batch white, red, and sparkling wines from local vineyards across an eclectic cross-section of varieties including, but not limited to; Albariño, Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, Grenache, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Mourvèdre, Sangiovese, Syrah and Zinfandel. Texture Wines is a boutique producer of small-lot Pinot Noir and Chardonnay still and sparkling wines, focused on a handful of the most exclusive vineyards in Anderson Valley and the West Sonoma Coast. Basic responsibilities include: • Wine/grape sampling, sample preparation and basic chemical analysis • Fruit processing • Equipment and tank sanitation / maintenance • Fermentation monitoring • Cap management practices (punch-downs & pump-overs) • Additions to wines/musts A qualified candidate will meet the following criteria: • Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license and secured housing. • Previous harvest or cellar practice is great but positive attitude, sense of humor and strong work ethic is better. • Wine production expertise and/or education preferred but not necessary. • Adaptcapability to changing environments and conditions with an capability to manage changing workflow and tasks. • Willing to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays. • Able to execute demanding physical tasks over extended hours and capability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly. • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. • Must be proficient in English and able to follow written and oral instruction. Internship can begin immediately and runs approximately through the end of November, depending on season. Competitive wage and harvest bonus.
