University Facilities, Infrastructure, and Operation (UFIO) is seeking a Business Finance Manager. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE),12-month, professional faculty position.

The Financial Services Business Finance Manager plays a critical function in superviseing the financial operations and administrative functions in University Facilities, Infrastructure, and Operations (UFIO) at Oregon State University (OSU). This position combines fiscal management, process improvement, and personnel supervision to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

This position reports to the Director of Capital Accounting and Financial Planning in Financial Services. This position is responsible for accounting processes, index and fund oversight, and fiscal controls. This position will collaborate and regularly engage with the Senior Associate Vice President for Administration's Office (SAVPA) leaders, supporting them by creating reports for financial planning and budget forecasting. This position will support the unit by reviewing and recommending the streamlining of business processes using technology.

This position is part of University Facilities, Infrastructure, and Operation (UFIO). UFIO supports Oregon State University's land grant mission by, superviseing the design and development, land use planning, real estate and space management needs for Oregon State University's built environments. Designing, constructing, maintaining and supporting safe, comfortable, sustainable, and efficient facilities. Providing safe, sustainable transportation programs and services. Providing excellent customer service for the university.

UFIO is a part of the units that are supervisen by the Senior Associate Vice President for Administration's Office (SAVPA). SAVPA units maintain and manage the physical and operational infrastructure of Oregon State University. The unit's function in an interdependent partnership which relies on cooperation and shared skills to create a safe, functional, inclusive and beautiful campus environment. The services provided by SAVPA units ensure that students can thrive, research can flourish and OSU can continue to lead the way into a sustainable, prosperous and equitable future for all.

What You Will Need • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or field related to assigned responsibilities
• Three years of full-time (or full-time equivalent) demonstrated budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis practice.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated success in improving and implementing programs and services.
• Excellent skills in spreadsheet and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrable commitment to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment for staff, customers, and campus community.
• This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

What We Would Like You to Have • Master's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• practice with Banner Financial Information System (FIS), Tableau, Jaspersoft, and internal Oregon State University reporting systems such as CORE.
• Five years of full-time (or full-time equivalent) of higher education or governmental accounting practice.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated capability to simultaneously manage numerous projects for multiple stakeholders.
• practice with Service Centers or Auxiliaries within a University environment.
• Two years' of full-time (or full-time equivalent) practice coordinating other employees including planning, approving and assigning work.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule Typically works in an office environment. Must have capability to sit or stand while working at a computer for extended periods. Occasional evening and weekend work. Hybrid work available with manager approval.
