Job Opportunity: Environmental Project Manager III:Resource Environmental Solutions (RES)Job description:Job InformationEnvironmental Project Manager IIIBack to listTitle Environmental Project Manager III Organization Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) Job detail Overview RES is seeking a Project Manager II I with 10+ years of practice in Brentwood, TN, Athens, GA or Forsyth, GA. The Mission: To lead a team of professionals delivering large and complex projects including stream and wetland compensatory mitigation banks and Permittee Responsible Mitigation (PRM) in Georgia and Tennessee. What your day-to-day might look like? You will be working with all parties involved in mitigation banking and environmental restoration projects including scientists, engineers, regulators, lawyers, real estate professionals, financial analysts, accountants, and other program managers. You will use excellent communication and leadership abilities expertise, a strong expertise of budgets and accounting, a team-located mentality, and the capability to navigate through complex projects with internal stakeholders and external clients. You will use project management expertise to identify, track, and mitigate risks. Field work to evaluate sites located on regulatory and technical constraints will be part of some days. Other days may involve GIS or CAD work for desktop analysis. In addition to serving as technical and regulatory lead for projects, you will supervise and mentor junior professionals as they grow and develop. You will have the opportunity to participate in conferences, trade groups, and other external leadership abilities functions to market RES and advance environmental restoration. You will also develop and maintain RES’s relationship with clients to build a healthy backlog of work. Qualifications Qualifications We would love to talk to you if you have the following Appropriate qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field 10+ years of progressive practice in an applied-sciences, engineering, or construction field with 7+ years of Project Management practice practice using project management and scheduling software Demonstrated existing relationships with public agencies and regulators, private developers, consulting and engineering firms, non-profits and academia to further RES' reputation and business interests Demonstrated practice in planning, scheduling, and executing the full range of project tasks on schedule and on budget for a variety of complex projects, leading the project from conception to completion Demonstrated practice in estimating and evaluating bids from subcontractors and managing subcontractors practice with forecasting and delivery of financial reports What will make you stand out? practice as team lead of applied-sciences, engineering, or construction department.
