Listing description

We are seeking for a dynamic manager to join our team! The So Cal Sales Manager will be responsible for leading their sales team to achieve performance objectives within their territories across Southern California, and to work closely with the sales team to establish key relationships with restaurants and retailers. Working as a collective team with a shared vision, our focus is communicating the stories & voices of the wineries in the Grand Cru portfolio to accounts, while serving as ambassadors of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Implement and execute strategic sales initiatives
-Coach and mentor CA sales team
-Identify additional resource needs to maximize the potential of each territory
-Actively support the sales efforts of account managers across Southern CA territories, including regular market work with them
-Market consciousness: analyze and explore the fine wine market to identify opportunities for new customers; assess portfolios & offerings of competitors in order to compare/contrast
offerings of the company when interfacing with accounts when necessary
-Collaborate with account managers on inventory reduction strategies and goals
-Work within our operating systems, to enter orders, look at inventory, build reports and analyze business.
-Monitor limited and allocated wines
-Conduct sales meetings on a consistent basis to communicate sales objectives and expectations to sales team
-Hold team accountable for upholding GCS Core Values including but not limited to responding within 24 hours to all client inquiries
-Build and maintain close working relationships with the top accounts across the state

FINANCE
-Create territory sales forecasts
-Participate in the annual budget process
-Track and submit receipt and expense reports in according to company guidelines
-Create Event Budgets & ROI projections

QUALIFICATIONS
-Entrepreneurial spirit
-Fine wine sales practice - Minimum 5 years
-Strong communication and marketing expertise
-Self-starter
-Detail oriented
-Must present a polished and professional image
-Must be able to lift 10 - 25 lbs
