Min Hourly Rate $14.70 (Standard); $13.70 (Non-Urban); $15.95 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $17.00 (Standard); $16.50 (Non-Urban); $18.00 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) SCLM 457 teaching adjunct position for the School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Supply Chain Management at Oregon State University (OSU). This position is to assist Professor (of SCLM 457) in managing the two sections of the course during the Winter 2025 term. Pay rate is $15.70 per hour. Position tasks Primary tasks include grading assignments and/or exams and possibly proctoring exams, as well as helping manage the course Canvas site (by posting materials, grades and other activity-related info. per professor's instructions). On average, Information technology will take 3-5 hours per week. Minimum Qualifications Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found here: http://fa.oregonstate.edu/stu-manual/500-employment-eligibility-requiremen ts » Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study » Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment » Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard » High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program » Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term » Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term* » Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term » Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term* *International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered ?full-time? by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center. Additional Required Qualifications Having already taken BA357 (Operations Management) or any equivalent course(s) with an at least B+ course grade and a current GPA of at least 3.5; must be familiar with MS Office suite and strong writing, communication expertise and highly responsive (fulfilling tasks in/on time). Preferred (Special) Qualifications Preferably, having taken SCLM 457 (Supply Chain Strategy) previously and some practices with Canvas environment. Working Conditions / Work Schedule Work schedule likely to vary week-to-week, so the TA should be ready to be flexible; however, doing the job (my TA work) won't take more than 5 hrs (on average) per week through the term.
