Job Summary This is an Internal Employment Opportunity The School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (MIME) is seeking an hourly Academic Wage: Faculty Research adjunct. This is a part-time (0.45 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term position. This position is anticipated to last approximately 2 months. The Faculty Research adjunct will support the PI in research on human-in-loop underwater robot manipulation. The Faculty Research adjunct will identify, collect, analyze, and interpret primary data describing how humans interpret sensing data from a robot manipulator, and how humans interact with an autonomous manipulator system to make decisions about the best way to grasp objects. They will assist with behavioral research design, human subjects data collection, and data analysis. They will write research papers. They may work with undergraduate and graduate students working on similar projects.
